Re: Mod with a mac ? yes it's possible !

The MPQ extractor is simple , all you have to do is drag one of your .MPQ patch files on to it and it will extract all its content in the same folder that you installed the MPQ extractor . Then you can do some model swaps really easy , simply by moving and renaming some files .

The MPQ compressor is very simple too , all you have to do is double click it , then you drag your edited folder inside the MPQ compressor box and it will compress your patch folder into an MPQ file .

The BLP viewer is only used to see file with a .blp extension (basically , texture files) . Im not a good Model editor so im learning just like you guys are , but seeing tools that us Mac users can use to Model Edit really is nice and i hope that we will see more of those in the near future .

Re: Mod with a mac ? yes it's possible !

    Sorry for the slow feedback,
    as piggy said :
-1 Use MPQextract to get a folder and access all the files content
-2 Now finds Blp files you want to change and then use Blp viwer or the script to convert them into png and modify it on photoshop
Use the script to convert your png file to blp
-3 delete all the files you don't modify in the extracted MpQ
for exemple if you modify the Black Arakoa skin just keep [Extracted Expension (previously MPQ) / CREATURES / ARRAKOA / Arakkoa_Warrior_Black.blp] )
-4 Finally use Drop mpq to compress the folder to a MPQ archive, now you can use it as a patch (Name it Patch-#.MPQ or if it doesn't work patch-frFR-#.MPQ change the frFR to your realm country)

Any questions ? +rep appreciated if you like (=
