[Guide] Add Music to Zone (dbc editing)

Hello all!

This is a guide for how to edit dbc files for add music to zones.

You have to edit the following dbc files:

zonemusic.dbc
sondentries.dbc
areatable.dbc

soundentries.dbc add a line with a non existing id.
for field1 put 28 (this is the type of the sound, you need zone music and that is 2
then fill the remain fields.treepath of the music, and etc...

Add a new line and fill the infos. Put the if what yo made in soundentries.dbc in field6 and field7.

areatable.dbc
You should find the id of the area here, where you want to set the music.
And edit field8 and field9 to the id what you set in zonemusic.dbc (field8 is for day field9 is night music)

I added a music to gilijim's island (and renamed it to existence island )

I use the same DBC Editor in your screenshots, but, How to add a new line?

I not have find an options to do this and i have converted to CSV, but cant find a program to turn back in DBC!

Help plx!

There is an error in your guide.

AreaTable.dbc
You say: field8 Day music and field9 Night music. It's wrong!

-field8 it's related to the ID of ZoneMusic.dbc and is unique (not day or night)

-field9 it's related to the Intro Music! (when you enter in that zone, be4 start your zone music)


For set a different music in the night you need to edit ZoneMusic.dbc

-field6 it's for Day music
-field7 it's for Night music

These fields are related to the ID of SoundEntries.dbc

Then you need 2 line in SoundEntries.dbc (one for Day and one for Night)
