Ok, so i have succesfully done this many times. You find a highly wanted item on the AH. ( better with a weapon or peiece of armor) Then you check the buyout price of it. If it is a reasonable price you then say in the trade channel selling (item your looking at on AH, USE A LINK, that way they think you have it) for 10-20g more than AH buyout. Now if you have someone who whispers you and says ok you buy the item and sell it to the newb for more, grats you made a quick 10-20g. I have done this many times and it has had a high success rate for me. SO try it on your server!

In easy steps....

1. Go to AH.
2. Find a highly wanted item and find the buyout price of it.
3. Advertise in trade channel for 10-20g more than that buyout.
4. Wait for someone to accept, buyout auction, then sell to new person.
5. Repeat.

You will be rollin' in G! lol. GL.

This man is right... even post BC... some ppl just dont mess with the AH... some think its WAAAAY to over priced and would rather farm themselves.... and with not getting what they want... they see it in trade and just give in. I do this all the time... some ppl hate me for it (being a reseller) but hey... it pays.

This CAN work, and I have seen it happen. Do it on an alt though not your main. I have seen folks get caught in this and called on it in public via the trade channel and taken crap for being a con artist for hours afterwards. Just send some play money to an alt, and I can see this one working some of the time.

If they are retarded and pay too much, F em, they deserve what they get for being lazy and/or a n00b.

there is a similar way but works a lot more due to the greed of other people and it can make you a lot more gold... heres how.... find something on AH that theres only one of or have an item you looted and theres none on the AH... send it to an alt and put it on the AH on your alt for an abnormally high buyout like say 200g for a Krol Blade then go on your main and say "WTB [Krol Blade] 250g!" then someone rlly greedy will go and buy it out off the AH most likely and offer it to you... then you say srry got one alrdy thx tho and occasionally youll get a person who has one in their inventory alrdy so you should stand by te AH and refresh when someone says they have one and if they do and didnt buyout yours... tell them you alrdy got one then just check occasioally till they logout and then try again almost gaurenteed to work since theres so many greedy ppl out there gl hf!

Perfect for making gold.
