    [Holy Paladin]3.1.0 5man PvE Guide!

First of all, the information in this guide comes from my own experience and knowledge by 100%. Enjoy.

This guide contains the following sections:

    1.0 Spec
    1.1 Stats
    1.2 Spell Rotation
    1.3 Gear
    1.4 Addons
    1.5 Glyphs

    1.0 Spec

Theres pretty popular 51/5/15 build, which works perfectly, I highly recommend it.

    1.1 Stats
    Not much to say...
For mostly, you want to stack haste rating, spell power, mp5, and intellect.

    1.2 Spell Rotation

Since Blizzard nerfed the mp5 regen rate by 40% in 3.1.0, im using this method on 5man dungeons:

When tank got under 60% of his/her HP, 1 Holy Light.

When tank got under 45% of his HP, 1 Holy Shock,1 Holy Light.

When DPS loose over 10k HP, 2xFlash of Light, [Or Holy Shock]

I dont personally recommend keeping Beacon of Light 24/7 on tank, not necessary and it's a manaeater spell. Use it when whole group is taking dmg for period time.

But I do recommend having Sacred Shield on tank when doing trash mobs. Not necessary on bosses, but helps.

    1.3 Gear

Tbh, theres no idea me linking all the gear to here, theres so many sites where you see straight away the best gear just like Kaliban's Class Loot Lists: Paladin

    1.4 Addons

At the moment, im using addon called Grid, and it works perfectly, you can setup yourself the layout, you can choose either 5man,10man,25man,or 40 man layout

    1.5 Glyphs

    Minor Glyphs

-Glyph of Blessing of Wisdom, Increase the duration of Blessing of Wisdom by 20 min, when casted on yourself.
-Glyph of the Wise, Reduces the mana cost of Seal of Wisdom spell by 50%
-Glyph of Blessing of Kings, Reduces the mana cost of Blessing of Kings, and Greater Blessing of Kings by 50%

    Major Glyphs

-Glyph of Holy Shock, Reduces the cooldown of Holy Shock by 1 sec.
-Glyph of Seal of Wisdom, While Seal of Wisdom is active, the cost of your healing spells is reduced by 5%
-Glyph of Holy Light, Your Holy Light grants 10% of its heal amount to up to 5 friendly targets within 8 yards of the initial target.

When tank got under 45% of his HP, 1 Holy Shock,1 Holy Light.

Why would I use holy light after Holy shock when holy shock triggers the instant FoL?
Also you should keep a beacon of light on the tank =/
Not like Mana is a problem in 5mans if you got decent gear.
You would also like to keep a Sacred Shield up on the tank
Also for the addons you should add Pallypower since like everyone feels like lvling a paladin these days.

Holy Shock + FoL with 1,8k SP does like 12k healing with lucky crits.

Sorry this is not leveling guide.

Telling them to look at loot lists is stupid for a gear section. And you don't want to stack MP5 at all.

    OP is doing it wrong.

    1. Talents. A better build would be
    53/0/18
due to the fact that for paladins 3%crit>5%healing

    2. Stats. Paladins do not really need haste. They already get a free 15% spell haste from casting a single judgement, which in my opinion is enough and leaves room for other stats like intellect, crit.. not to forget how casting this and that quickens casting that and this.

    3. Spell rotation. This varies greatly from the healer. Some healers prefer to spam flash of light to keep the tank at top all the times so they can heal the dps quickly as well. Another reason for this is the Sacred Shield spell, which increases flash of light crit chance by 50% while active (making flash of light a very mana efficient and well healing spell; illumination gives 60% mana back which means FoL costs only about 150mana while it still heals for +5k (1800sp).

Indeed, using beacon isnt even necessary in instances, although i usually find it useful to put it on myself so i dont need to check my health while im healing others.

"When tank got under 45% of his HP, 1 Holy Shock,1 Holy Light."
Err.. Holy shock before holy light?

    4. Addons. Xperl + clique is imba for healing ;p

    5. Glyphs. Glyph of flash of light > holy shock & Glyph of divinity > glyph of SoW.

oh yeah and holy light + holy shock with 1800sp and lucky crits is MOAR than 20k
