[GUIDE] How to update server with revs

This is a guide on how to successfully update a server with the different revs of arcemu.

WARNING: This requires you already know how to setup a server. Also do not preform unless a new revision of arcemu has been updated to svn otherwise there would be no point.

First lets get the things you need:
    Tortoise SVN
    Heidi SQL

    1. when you already have your server up and running and you want to update it too the latest rev first thing you are going to do is make a folder and name it whatever you want. Then you are going to SVN the latest rev from the svn://arcemu.org/svn/trunk

    2. Once that has finished look in the folder name "sqls" it should have another folder named "world_updates, logon_updates, character_updates" go into that folder and run all the updates with your current rev and new rev and all inbetween and it will update your db for the new rev.

    3. Once you finished that compile the core and scripts like any other day setting up a server.

    4. Once that whole setting up server is done move core to where you would like. But before you do you may want to make a copy of your config files.

    5. Re-config your files to the way they were on the old revision.

    6. Then update the maps and dbc IF a new patch came if not there is no need just use the old ones. Then delete old core.

    7. After that it should work brand new with newest patch unless you updated it just because.

Hope this helped you out there.

This wont work unless ArcEmu updated the SVN with their new files. This will not work for 3.1 yet. until ArcEmu realeases it there's no point in trying to update.
    although nice guide. ^^

Most likely. You just wont be ale to access 3.0 stuff. But you may want to save a extra version of the one your using right now just in-case.
