Hey im very much a newbie 2 this whole thing so i would like 2 know step by step how 2 connect 2 a private server like where in the realm list do i put the url 4 that server?

so if u could help i would b so very great full

if you are trying to connect to a server then most likely

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist eu.version.worldofwarcraft.com

The Red line is where you change. But you have to know the realmlist ofc. Exchange the red text to

set realmlist SERVERREALMLISTHERE

The rest

set patchlist eu.version.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn ""
set portal eu

Can most likely just be left as it is.

I think that's what he was talking about Sandile. In my experience private servers don't require the remaining code:

Those strings are for patches etc.twocents

well realitywow.game-server.cc is wot i wont 2 connect 2 is wot sandile said the right way 2 go cos i just did wot he said & i could not log it :S

Okay I did a little research and I can't even find Reality-WoW on the web other than one site which refuses to load. However there are usually two steps to connecting to a private server: registration, and changing your realmlist.wtf located in your World of Warcraft data folder (usually c:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf, enUS may read differently depending on your version e.g. enGB).

So step 1: Go to the Reality-WoW website and register an account if necessary (probably is necessary).

Step 2: On their website should be listed somewhere the information for changing your realmlist.wtf file. Unless specifically stated in their directions, replace everything in the realmlist.wtf file with their server information.

The finished realmlist.wtf file should look something like.

set realmlist logon.servername.com

Of course "logon.servername.com" would be replaced with the server's actual realmlist information.

Exploded.servegame.org is the 1 im trying 2 connect with ok & i did wot was above & yes i have created an accound on there website Exploded Funserver Main Page i have used my normal wow account name & pass 2 try 2 enter it & i tried the account & pass that i entered on the site all ways i can small & caps ect but it keeps coming up with the not valid pass or user thing.

Any ideas?

im on the same patch they say & i did the same damm thing they said & its not soding working 4 me.

then their account creation site is not working correctly. period.
