    [Guide] Modifying Bytes (NPC customization)

I'll make this nice and quick, so let's begin on how to access these Byte commands.

    Code:
.modify bytes0 (not advised to mess with)
.modify bytes1 (one we will be working with)
.modify bytes2 (not advised to mess with)

The other two seem to have either no effect or may permanently harm your character or NPC. So we will avoid them today.

Now you know how to access the command, find an NPC that you wish to experiment on. After you have it, start toying around with the available byte1 commands:

    Code:
    0 - Normal standing
    1 - Sitting on floor
    3 - Laying down (Sleeping)
    4 - Low Sitting
    5 - Medium Sitting
    6 - High Sitting
    7 - Dead
    8 - Kneeling
Note: Applying these effects to the NPC is as easy as .modify bytes1 <#> ... The "<#>" being replaced with the desired effect number.

And that's it! And yes, these changes can be done in your SQL program (HeidiSQL, Navicat, etc, etc), but I think this way is a bit easier since you can see your results in an instant.

A nice guide. Please remember for the newer revisions of ArcEmu and related cores, the command is
    Code:
    .npc modify bytes1
    Cheers,

uhh i messed with byts 2 and 0 -- on bytes 0 it modifies your character/or npc in gender class and race and randomizes them completly usualy resulting in a wow error whenever you try to log in... and 2 -- it doesent really do anything well you cant tell because it disconects your really quickly.... or maybe its the otehr way around XD
