[Guide] How To Give Characters Titles, And List of Current Titles Avaiable

I haven't seen anything like this before so I thought I should share it with people that dont know about it.


First of all, here's how to add a title to a toon in arcemu (dont know mangos or any others sorry, but the numbers should be the same but the command not so sure).

Type char settitle (number)

For example:

.char settitle 6 will give you the title Knight before your name.

The first time you add a title to someone or yourself have them relog so they can choose it. After that they or you can add as many titles as you want and you wont have to relog, but don't add too many because after a while you wont be able to choose any old titles.

To select a title: Press C (its default to show your character) then under your name is a drop down box. Thats where all the title you have are.

I actually tried to give myself a title on my last server, by writing what number the title is (like writing '12' for Grand Marshal 'cuz there is 12 PvP ranks/titles).

ArcEmu had this command for a really long while, so it should be in the database, if your the admin in the server then update your repack otherwise it's probably not avaiable to you... as in the admin made it so that you can't give people that for whatever rank GM you are.

Thank you so much I've been looking for a list like this forever, been doing it the old school way going through SQL to add titles but could only figure out PvP Titles. It's working on my server, shouldn't be a problem as long as your databases are up to date.
