Is this normal

Having never played the real wow I ran into a quest I had never done with a friend last night while we were on my intranet server. The quest was in steelbreeze city / town and when we went there, there were so may mobs around that we couldn't complete the quest (kept getting killed). This is in nightelf island so is that a normal part of this quest? Also after that we were told we have to redeem ourselves. So I feel stupid because it may be normal and I just dont know it?

oh I dont remember the name of the quest but I will look it up just thought someone could verify it for me.

I can't see why it wouldn't be normal. It would be best if you could link the quest though.

The Name of the Quest is seek redemption. And the mobs are in Starbreeze village!!

I misunderstood what quest I was actually on it was one where we were going to starbreeze village to complete the guest. I was just assuming it was that quest because I was sent on the quest from him to complete and then the quest to be redeemed. I am so confused anyway I am playing on my own server atm I have never played the Retail as you put it so I don't know. Come to find out I changed to a different version and server so it seems it was from the build of the previous I only saw 2 mobs there this time so I guess that was it. Anyways thanks for ur help and sorry to bother you.
