[Question] ZG Last Boss

Hey me and my mate have been 2 manning pre-tbc content.
Well we decided to do ZG and we got to Hakkar, but we just could't figure out how to 2 man him becaus of that mind control thing and the timer.

Anyone here who knows any way to 2 man him?

Remember to bring a son of hakkar at the top and get yourself in the poison when he leech off of you so he doesnt refull his HP

kill all of the other bosses so he doesnt get buffed also

i rember one boss gives him +50% atk speed
another is +50% attack pwr
but they also nerfed the gold in pre-tbc content by alot;

we already did all of the other bosses the problem is the mind control thing.

If i remba right, you can kill hakkar right of the bat but he gets the power of the animal bosses
Spider, Raptor, Tiger, Pantha, Bat, (not sure what one is the mind control)

I have solod, Bat, pantha, tiger so far on my dk

so should be easy as long as you have a healer so just kill the minni bosses. allso i think the money drop was nerfed last patch on the bosses..

last time we tryed it we only did him to 10% before enrage.

resto healed himself and me, while i tryed to put out as much damage as possible.
hakkar would mindcontrol me every few seconds. it should be possible though with better gear/spec/buffs.

Mind control is always going to be on hakkar no matter what boss you kill, to get rid of his other abilities and enrage, I can solo him as a dk along with the other bosses, you need to kill all the animal bosses first, you cannot 2 man him unless you got really good heals and you don't pwn your healer in the process also you can be stunned in the mind control so best healer would probably be like a pally or something so u don't pwn him , if you can solo him he wont mind control, any other npc, pets, whatever cause him to MC there is no avoidance besides getting a bigger group or not having anyone in the area at the time and you soloing him, as for the poison, you are supposed to stand in the poison stuff but with 2 people it doesn't really matter he gains like 15k health which is nothing really he gains about 6 with just my dk

I 2 Manned him with a prot paladin and a prot warrior, heals from JoL was enough to keep us up, and the odd bug when Hakker MC'd us made me "reset" and regain full HP whilst hakkar didn't. First time we tried him he reset at about 20% due to MC + drain at the same time, but we just continued afterwards due to infinite rage etc.

It is a lot harder to 2 man as a tank+healer, because tanks actually hit fairly hard now, on top of hakkar a healer can get overwhelmed. I would suggest getting 2 tanks and rolling with that, one should be a protadin though due to JoL. You will also do more damage as 2 Prot than healer + Prot.

get a hunter lol we 3manned feral druid bad gear.. like lvl 76 80healer blue/epics and a hunter blue/epics lol freeze trap helps alot

when I did it with my hunter friend, for some odd reason he didn't cast mindcontrol if the pet was tanking the boss, might work for you or perhaps it was only a temporarly bug

-High Priestess Jeklik(Bat Aspect) - 1200-2000 AoE damage + 8s silence.
-High Priest Venoxis(Snake Aspect) - 800 damage poison to the raid.
-High Priestess Mar'li(Spider Aspect) - 6 second stun against current aggro holder.
-High Priest Thekal(Tiger Aspect) - Frenzy, increasing attack speed by 150%.
-High Priestess Arlokk(Panther Aspect) - 2 second gouge (aggro wipes the main tank)


I suggest you clear all of them for a 2 man kill...Unless you're both pallies / DK's / etc

Even though my brother (Frost / Tank DK) and me (Survival Hunter) 2 manned the Raptor boss (without glitches). We just cleared the whole room full of raptors, he would pull the boss (after I nuked the add) to one corner, I'd get in range, pull aggro, pet tank it, feign death back to my brother, rinse repeat for 5 minutes XD.

ANYWAYS. I hope this helps you in your 2 man adventure of pre-tbc content. (I only posted my story because it was a 2 man adventure quite like yours )

I 2 Maned it with a fury war as a holy paly and just beaconed him and spammed heals, only boss we didn't do was High Priestess Mar'li or what ever his name is
