    How to compile ArcEmu (Linux)

Since were doing this on linux I am supposing you only have the command line. So first we need to checkout from the arcemu svn. Also you need a few things before we compile. To get those packages type

    Code:
    apt-get install build-essential unzip automake subversion autoconf zlib1g-dev libssl-dev libtool libstdc++5 libgd2-xpm libpcre3-dev
    And then

    Code:
    apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client libmysqlclient15-dev
After thats done were ready to go. So lets checkout from the svn

    Code:
    svn co http://arcemu.info/svn/trunk/
    Type type cd trunk

    Then

    Code:
    autoreconf -f -i
    Then

    Code:
    ./configure --prefix=/location/to/install
    Then

    Code:
    sh make_precompiled_header.sh
    Now the longest step

    Code:
    make -j 3
Where the 3 is put how many processors your computer has + 1.

    then to build it

    Code:
    sudo make install
Now you just need to setup the configs, database, get the DBC files and maps.
