Want Wifi? No wireless router?

If you don't have a wireless router here is my tutorial I thought of while trying to get free WiFi without a wireless router.

OK. Ready? I'm not POSITIVE I need someone to test it.

OK, now ready?


1.Get your DS charger
Cut it in half but keep the end that goes into the DS.

2.Get an extra USB cable. In the MIDDLE of it cut the thing in half. (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FAT END READY TO USE)

3. I'm not sure what it's called, but put the USB's wire with the fat end and connect it to the DS's power cord you cut in half.

4. Plug it into your PC and you should have WiFi.

Tips:

[Make sure you put tape over the two wires you assemble].
[Like I said, I'm not sure if this works, if it does someone please post].

Ok.. Maybe i'm missing something here..

But, why would cutting a power cord and usb cord in half, then deciding which of the 4 wires inside the usb cable should be connected to which of the (guessing 2, but don't know for sure) how many wires the charger has have anything at all to do with granting you network access?

I mean, for one, you won't have wifi, because wifi by definition is wirelss fidelity, and this is wired. Second, how would random usb voltages, without, say a USB network adapter, have anything to do with network traffic?

Reading this really made me *boggle*. Again, like I said, i'm not familiar with the DS, but speaking in general terms, I don't see how this could ever possibly work?

lol this is funny he just put some random thing... If somone tries this you have just been told to cut you're DS charger in half and you did it...
