A Introduction: Making a spawn point is good for quite a few things. I haven't seen a guide like this so I decided to make one. Making spawn points is when your Class spawns Example: You make a Human and you want him to spawn some where else instead of Northshire Valley. So if you have a mall you can make everyone spawn there or whatever. So spawn points are very useful if you have malls or want them to spawn in a Arena for a PvP server. It all depends on what kind of stuff you are doing on your server.




B How to do it: First I would like to say I am new to the stuff, this is the first time I have actually played with the Database. But here we go..First you open Navicat (the best DB program there is) If you don't have it, download it.

Then if you don't have a server you can check out my How to set up a server guide:

Okay once thats done go into your World Database.

Then go into your Playercreateinfo

1 = Human Alliance
2 = Orc / Troll Horde
3 = Gnome / Dwarf Alliance
4 = Night Elf Alliance
5 = Undead Horde
6 = Tauren Horde
7 = Gnome / Dwarf Alliance
8 = Troll / Orc Horde

Sorry for 1, 2, 7 & 8 But I'm not sure which ones are which because they both spawn in the same place.

Sorry I edited out the MapID or whatever, I don't want you to get an idea where my place is :P.
But anyways, go ingame to where you want your mall and stuff to be and type .gps
Then it will give you your map ID and you X, Y, and Z then if you want to have an ALL mall then you just fill all the Map ID X, Y, and Z with the same GPS information. Then you will have all the Classes spawning in the area. Sorry I don't know which is which class. Sorry :\

Hey thanks very much for the guide it's helped alot! thought I'd just help out a little because I worked this all out and it took me ages so I may aswell share it for anyone that needs it,

In the playercreationinfo table there is a column called race this shows what the player is that spawns, the race numbers equal the following:

1 = Human Alliance
2 = Orc / Troll Horde
3 = Gnome / Dwarf Alliance
4 = Night Elf Alliance
5 = Undead Horde
6 = Tauren Horde
7 = Gnome / Dwarf Alliance
8 = Troll / Orc Horde

Sorry for 1, 2, 7 & 8 But I'm not sure which ones are which because they both spawn in the same place, the easiest way to find out would be to change one the the positions and then create a char but I don't have time to do that, gotta go dentist soon.
