Paladin and Warlock 2v2 Team?

Would this team be any good? I mean, pre-wotlk my pally friend and I were unstoppable in BGs etc. But, will it be any good in a wotlk 2v2? I'm a afflic lock, not sure what spec they would be.

I doubt warlocks can do any good right now, but yea the least you can do is team with a holy pal or a Death knight. demon form spec is best atm

I'd think that Warlock + Pally will equal to be a great team. Although not against Them Dark Kinghts, they are one tough cookie. In fact a little bit overpowered ^_^

Warlocks seem to have very little defense against anything now.


The only thing you'd have going for your team is the paladin if he's ret, other than that you'll get gibbed by anything and everything.


And running anything with a healer ATM is pointless as crap and you'll get roflstomped 100-0 in one cheap shot-kidney shot.

Retri pala + affi/demo lock = imba - i have myself that setup and i PWN1337 everything except dk's

The warlock will be killed pretty easy. If you're against Rogue/Mage, Rogue/DK, DK/Mage, DK/Ret Pala.... the best partner for pala at the moment is DK or Warrior

With the current state of damage out put, im not really sure how this comp would work out. You would need to stack a ton of resilience and aim for cap which in this season i dont think is even attainable... Melee is just to strong right now.

Im playing a warlock atm and its true that i dont really have resi gear and stuff but im still getting pwned very easily, they should really do something about it

Rogue and loladin are probably the only viable partners at the minute for warlock's above 1700 =/
The burst is just too high otherwise =(

BoP is your friend.
If you can get a loladin, go for it.
With bop + metamorph(or haunt/SL) you can generally outlast most teams these days due to the excessive amount of double dps teams!
Unholy dk's dont have **that** huge burst too so holy/dk teams shouldnt be too tough either.

Holy Pally and Lock is a good combo, best combo for a lock atm. Your strategy depends on the map, fully dot up everyone, keep cc's and LoS. If you vs a DK then CC like crazy, kill Ghoul and Gargoyle whenever they're up, you can choose who to focus down depending on the map, if there is a lot of LoS then kill the DK, if not then focus the pally.

P.S. Aff/SL is the best spec. Once locks get around 500+ Res the class becomes a lot 'easier' to play in PvP, and most locks are crying because they run into BGs and get shit on with 0 res.

Demo would be better depending on your team combo, but in most cases NOT AT ALL.

I always thought a holy paly would do really good in arenas. but on my death knight i just own them instantly basically. its wierd. probably because death knights have like 3 things that interrupts spells and one of them silences them.

But paladin and warlocks arent as powerful as before, but still good though.
