[GUIDE] Make your site public No Hamachi! (Noob Friendly)

The Easy Public Site Set-up

These are the required programs to have your site.
Abyss Web Server Aprelium - Download Abyss Web Server X1
Navicat lite for MySQL Download Navicat Lite 7.1.6 - The perfect way to manage your databases. - Softpedia

Setup Steps.

Step 1: Download both Navicat and Abyss Web Server.

Step 2: Go to DynDNS.com and register a new account.
Once you've registered Click on "Add Host Services"

Enter the information (Your site-name at servegame.org or w/e .org you choose)
Select "Create Wildcard for Aliases"

Where it says "IP Address" Click the link underneath the entry box, This will fill out your IP Address for you.

Step 3: Select "Create Host"

Step 4: Alrighty, Now that you've created your host Its time for you to get your site setup.
You need a web-pack. I'll be using Vatraluas WotLK Site for Ascent. Open up C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs and extract your web-pack files there.

Step 5: Open up account.php and fill out the necessary information, Save and exit.
Start up Abyss Web Server (If it's not already started) Right click the blue icon and select
"Show console..."

Step 6: Click on "Configure" and then click "Index Files" then click on "Add"
For the file name make it "Account.php" and click "OK" then click "Restart"

Step 7: Now navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and click on hosts and open it with notepad

Navigate to where it says

localhost your ip address

Modify your IP Address to your DynDNS Address.
Then add a new line by pressing enter

It should look like this

localhost your dyndns address
your ip address your dyndns address

Save and Exit.

Congratulations! You've got your own site setup and public!

You could make this a bit more clear what is this exactly? how to make a website, our a host for a website? make sure you include ports that need forwarding and the sytem32 edits if you need to. Once you make sure that is done I will give you rep 2x
