Frost Mage Battleground and Arena place

Ok yea. Im a nub mage who just got partial s2 now. But I do want to know for battlegrounds what is the role and stratagy of a frost mage and what is a good stratagy / role for arenas aswell.

I really only need to know about Athari Basin, Warsong Gulch, and the arenas.

just stay away from others and keep em in nova for critchance and spam your frostspells

I guess the roles might change slightly at 80, but what has been and probably will to some extent be your main focus is:

Battlegrounds just play em as you want, gib the others with your shatter combos or sheep and assist in the objectives of the current BG.

Arenas; MutliTasking is the keyword.
Crowd Control - You got an awesome amount of crowd control abilities, pet freeze, frost nova, CoC, sheep, counterspell and so on. Use em for all it's worth!
Nothing is more annoying, or good to have, than a skilled mage when using his utilities.

Burst Damage, keep em shatters coming. Talk with your team mates and do a nova frostbolt+ice lance. If timed right you can sometimes close to instagib someone, it's awesome. Especially if you just got of a CC on the healer.

As adviced already, watch movies.
