I, like other model editors, find the model editing section to be in a state of over organization. I would like to suggest that it goes back to its original state in which all guides and programs were in a sub forum, all help requests in a sub forum, all discussion and works in progress in a sub forum and all other releases left in the main section. The reason for this is firstly, the fact that custom models only fit in simple model edits when they are not very simple at all. World changes aka swapping the m2 treepaths and swapping of texture treepaths to make a place look different are also simple yet are not put in such a defined location. Another reason is for necessity. The model editing section isnt that active...its pretty active but not active enough to need 5 sub forums. Another way to rearrange the section would be to put it in its own main section in the forums. Right now it is under the World Of Warcraft section, while wow emu is not. Why does emu deserve a whole section and model editing does not? This means that model edit releases would be one forum, guides and programs would be another, discussion works in progress in their own forum and help and questions in their own forum, just like the wow emu. Why do the emu sections not have so many sub like the model editors and why dont the emu people need to seperate their releases like we do? They dont need to ponder wether their release is "simple", or if it doesnt qualify to be in a certain section. It just gets released, not put into a place where people might not even look. They dont need to put it in custom cores or repacks, or release custom sqls, all they do is release. And if none of this is done, atleast refine the sub forums so people who work hard on world building or on custom models dont have to put their edits in with simpler edits.
Since it is quite a bit to read, a summary for those who are curious as to the purpose of the thread:
1)reduce amout of sub sections
or
2)dedicate a whole section for model editing
or
3)make the sub forums describe the edits in the sections more correctly.
Thank you for reading.
