Invisible Character

This was posted in our guild chat in game so I figured I would post it here.

Requirements:

Level +20 Character
Mount
Mount Buff

Step 1.) Mount Up
Step 2.) Jump
Step 3.) When you are at the highest point in your jump, Press your Mount Buff key

When you land your character will be invisible,

Attack mobs with out your character being seen but be warned, you can still be attacked if they auto target you due to damage or if they cycle through using the Tab key.

A friend of mine and I have been trying to pull this off for about a half hour now and it isn't working. Any tips?

When my guild chat was talking about it, it was working.

You MUST time it just right. You must be at the very highest post of your jump before using the buff. I'll try it later and see if I can get it to work again.

Server lag makes me dismount about 3 seconds after I hit the button. Is this a factor you would believe to be involved? Also, does it show your character invisible on your screen or only to others? Also what exactly do you mean by "mount buff"? I took it to mean your mount hot key. Is there something I'm missing here?

You dont believe that this is client side? If you jump off a cliff and survive you often get misplaced but when you mount up it fixes your position.

When I did it, nobody in the guild was able to see me.

Yes, by buff I mean the mount.

Also, I don't lag so when I press the key it's almost instant. You just have to take that time in to consideration.
