Mount speed without being on mount!

Hey,

I found out that if you use your mount before entering a scenario, you actually get the mount buff (50% speed increase) while not mounted!

FOUR SIMPLE STEPS:
1. Queue up on any scenario (tested in t3 elf/order)
2. Wait for the join window
3. Mount up
4. Press join JUST BEFORE you mount up (must be less than 1 sec when you get loading screen)

and there you go! You now have the 50% speed increase while not mounted.
You can also use all your skills and even flee (which gives 50% more speed!)

This effect lasts after you leave the scenario, but you cant mount up (duh!) since you already "are" mounted.

Flee is 30% more but once I get a mount i'm gonna test this out.

I have tested this and so have my friends, it works (at least worked yesterday) but the timing must be accurate

Requires some timing indeed, tested it a couple of times, at the beginning it didn't work, but when it does, it's ownage =).

This got me thinking, perhaps you could do the same thing with a standard? that would give you, 25% run speed and various buffs, like action point regen or extra exp without having to use the standard at all .

Will test it later .

Can't seem to replicate this. Are you hitting join right as the mount progress bar fills up?

Tried a few different timings and am currently 0 for 10 or so.

I just made it so that the bar fills up when you enter loading screen (on fast computers its less than 1sec when you press join and on slower ones more... i guess). My friend has been succesfully doing it the whole day, so it should still work.

I dont know if this is anything but just as a scenario finished I had jumped and had just left the ground travelling up as it closed. When the screen loaded troll country i was still moving up and couldnt stop lol. This was after the hotfix. Could be something then again could be nothing.

Same thing happened to me, the CSR couldn't get me down for 15 min lol.
