    question

    hey guys

    ok i preordered WAR from walmart and got it like 2 days ago.. i install it and get account made and everything

    now the moment ive been waiting for starting WAR and playing it with a buddy
    click on it to open and itll load for like 20 seconds then i get a error that says

    "The patch lient was unable to retrieve the file [patcher.prod.sig] from the patch server. Please try the patch operation again in a short while."

    then i get the microsoft error that makes it close before it even opens
    ive called and the people are war arent people just machines that dont help
    emailed them and no answer and tried to reinstalled like 6 times and turned off firewall and everything i could think of no help.. so if any1 knows how to fix it that would be like awesome n could tell me would be even better

    Your graphic card isnt good enough, you need new graphic driver. or you need new sound driver

    Before you spend your money on a new graphix card download and install the missing direct X file to your system directory (windows/system )d3dx9_34.dll just google that and download

    Im 99% sure this will fix your issue

    ok i found that download but idk where to put it? sry for being nub not all that good with computers how do i get to the system directory?

    i went there b4 i bought the game and it said i could run it perfectly

    scratch that found the directory n put the file in still wont find patcher.prod.sig thing

    reinstalled 6 times before and just installed twice and nothing..

    I did a search on the forums and really didn't see a solution for this yet. There are people saying different things work..

    Go to the latest link I provided and type in the search options: patcher.prod.sig

    Ok guys i tried these solutions that the ea people gave me didnt work for me but thought id share them with you guys, word for word



    Solution (MAYBE) 1:




    Greetings,

    Be sure to download all of the critical update patches for your current operating system from Microsoft Windows Update.

    You can also do this by clicking on the Start button and clicking on the Windows Update icon. Make sure to check for standalone game update patches for Warhammer Online.

    Due to the previously communicated problems with the installation of Warhammer Online Standard Edition, we are pleased to announce that we have located the file that was corrupted. The file is available for download from the link below. Instructions for installing the patch:

    Download the patch from http://ll.cdn.static.jp.eaplay.com/u...s/warpatch.exe

    Drag it into the program file where you had saved the install

    Click on the patch

    Enter login and password

    Run download

    Then click play

    and then after that still didnt work for me so they gave up on me n left the question unresolved... so yup wasted $60 for pre-order to play a game that doesnt even work for me altho for those that can play have fun and go own some people
