Enh Shaman + warlock, Arena?

I currently have a level 70 Enh shaman and even though i know that Resto and perhaps Elemental is the most pvp viable i would like to try it. I have a warlock friend who's currently specced demonology, could this work as an arena team or is it basicly a waste of time?

Waste of time. Even Enhancement and BM is a waste of time. Most classes works best with a healer;(

Damn, was hoping to get somewhere being enhancement. New to arena so almost went armorsmith for Embrace of the Twisting Nether - Item - World of Warcraft til' i learned that such cd's dont work in arena. That would be useful with soulstone and reincarnation.. which also cant be used arena if i understand correctly?

It's not a waste of time..

I have an Enhanced Shaman and I'm teamed up with a Warlock too.. We kick ass but it took us awhile to figure it out.

One thing all Shaman players need to understand that Enhancement Shamans are very, very gear dependent. If you don't have the best gear, you're SOL... Even though Enhanced Shamans are not spec'ed for Healing they can still heal and anybody who enters any kind of PVP with out a bag full of pots is an idiot and deserves to die instantly.

It's a waste of time to team up with a warlock, and don't put enhancement down, they're very, very viable this season!

2v2 - Your best, and only bet is to team up with a resto druid, but there are more than likely very very few on the server that are good and willing.

3v3 - Get a warrior and a resto druid and do 3s. This is a great combo and by far the easiest way for an enh shaman to get rating and points, aside from...

5v5 - Run a cleave setup. It's harder to get the people online but if you all know what you're doing an incredibly easy comp. The setup is: Warrior, (Enh) Shaman, Disc Priest, Holy Paladin and a Ret Pally or a Rogue. Great makeup.

The biggest tip for you doing arenas as enhancement is this: always remember to throw on a shield if you're up against a warrior or rogue who is kicking your ass. If you don't put on a shield, you're dead.

When I first started World of Warcraft I started with not knowing anything about anything. I picked Shaman just because I didn't know what I was doing. As I progressed more and more in to The World of Warcraft I joined up with a guild who helped me level.

To be honest, when the first introduced the Free 10 Day Trial there was no limit on what level you can reach. With the right guild you can do what I did and level to 50 in no time. I did this on a Free 10 Day Trial..

After I hit 60 I was bored out of my mind. Then a guild member told me that I need to make a goal for my character so it isn't as boring. From that day on I have always had a goal for my characters.

Set yourself a goal and just do it. If the guild you are in doesn't help you reach your goal then you need to find a better one. With the help of Friends and the Guild I'm in I've reached 10% of my goal. 10% may not seem like a lot but when it comes to gear, it's a lot more than your so called hardcore players. Also I reached this goal working 12 hour shifts. So if I can do it, so can you.

You'll need:
A good guild
A bunch of good friends in other guilds
A goal

Do that and you'll be happy and kick ass in anything.

TheFreak, this question was asked in the PVP section, he was asking about arena. Instead of answering him in what he needs to do in arena, what he should do in arena, and the compositions to look for, you gave him a copy pasted list of consumables that an enhancement shaman needs for PVE - end game raiding - and then you gave him a list of the Sunwell gear an enhancement shaman can only strive for if they're in the best guild on their server, and in one of the 150 or so guilds worldwide killing KJ.

Not helpful at all.

Phail, Several teams (BM hunter - enhancement shaman) in top 50 arena comps in season 3 and middle of season 4.

It really depends how well you can play together, but lets say its not the easiest or optimal setup. Iv been going with my enh shammy and my friends warlock since s2 and it took quite some time to really get the hang of it.

If I where you I would level elemental, then at 80 do a lot of quests and get restoration rewards then respec..

2v2 - No.
3v3 - I remember a team with a enh. shaman, was with a warrior and something else, not sure what the third was, a healer atleast. Paladin maybe... hmm, don't know, but that was a sick team.
