    Primals Location Guide

Hello everyone, this is a guide about where you can farm motes. There are several different primals, today I will be showing you location for most or all.

I will also farm there myself for a total of an hour to an hour and a half and give you my results. These spots were either pulled off other guides, or given to me by friends/guildies.

    1) Elemental Plateau in Nagrand
This place has several different elementals. The elementals here are fire, water, air, and earth.
Here is a map of the location -
*NOTE* On the map I have marked the spots of where the elementals are, a key is at the bottom left corner of the map.

Results in 1 hour and 15 minutes -
    13 motes of fire
    11 motes of earth
    14 motes of water
    10 motes of air
    68 Elemental Fragment
    16 Primordial Essence

I did these late at night about two hours before the realms restart. There were 2 people there, two shammys, one shammy left 10 minutes after I got there. Ten minutes before I left, a hunter got there. I recommended farming here on off-hours.

    2) Waters around Halaa - Credits to tomit12 for sharing the spot
This place has water AND earth elementals, I farmed here for only 25-30 minutes, do to the server restarting. I didn't get any motes of earth, but my first earth elemental kill got me a green and a rare.

Results after 25-30 minutes of farming -
    14 motes of water
    46 elemental fragments
    15 primordial essence
    2 greens and a rare

    3) West of The Hand of Gul'dan - credits tomit12 for the spot
This primal spot has both fire and earth elementals, I farmed here for about 35 minutes, I wasn't so lucky with the earth elementals but pretty good motes of fire drops.

Results after 35 minutes of farming -
    19 motes of fire
    2 motes of earth
    39 elemental fragment
    5 primordial essence

    4) Lake north of Cenarion Thicket
This spot has some beasts, but they drop motes of water, the drop rate is not that great, but it's good if you are desperate

Results after 20 minutes of farming -
    8 motes of water
    41 elemental fragment
    11 primordial essence

THIS THREAD WILL BE UPDATED AS I START DOING NEW SPOTS, PLEASE IF YOU HAVE A NEW SPOT WHERE I CAN FARM AND POST RESULTS, PLEASE TELL SO HERE.

Great! You found the elemental plateau, lol.

Anyway, since people farm the elemental plateau pretty much always, you can also get a decent Water drop rate off the elementals in the water around the base of Halaa.

For Fire and Air, you can also check out SMV:

Forgot to add, if you are really desperate for Water, you can use a Nagrand Cherry or underwater breathing pot and farm the elementals in the water just south of the Throne of the Elements.

I've found that one of the best places to farm Primal water is off of the Elite Water elementals around Skettis. They have a pretty good drop rate and will usually drop 2, maybe 3 motes at a time ((and they're pretty weak for elites, so that makes it even easier))

More farming spots for air.... Above the aldor fp in smv there are a nice string of air elementals and if your a skinner there are shadow serpents that you can skin for cobra scales. I have spent hours farming here and have walked away with a nice amount of primals and scales.

You missed alot of spots. Some of them you missed are the best farming spots.. You only did the main ones that are well known.

Most people at level 70 well know where to farm primals, and they well mostly know those spots you posted.
