[Theory] moving without actually 'moving'

i dont know much about memory editing so dont flame me if this is utterly stupid, but when you use a hack like XYZ, you dont actually move, you character just budges forward, so, would it be possible to create some sort of hack that lets you just move in that sort of budging movement, but fast ofc.

so, is this possible?

spells that stop you, would have no effect, you could use spells that break when you move, ie, night elf shadowmeld.

Yes, but its kinda pointless and a pain to implement.

you could, but in most cases it would make moving awkward, i'm not sure about retail, but on private server you could just reset your movement state or use the script /script CancelLogout() to "unroot" yourself (its really handy in pvp)

well you could try wow maelstorm, then use blink, then you also can mod how far away want to port, but still "no point"
