Complex Macro Voice Command Made Easy

I have been using voice recognition software for quite some time to mandate my actions in game. actually stripped dragon naturally speaking down to the few weapon change commands id use in UT back in the day. I've used voice commander and shoot as well. Having gone through a plethora of different types of software to suit my needs(generally a hack script... ffxi on 2 accounts dual box farming and self PL'ing) ive come away with what i, in my humble opinion, find to be the most intuitive, FAST, responsive, accurate and generally useful overall by way of hands free input.

Voice buddy is a utility of this ilk pieced together by the guys at e-dimensional. they make the shutter glasses that are ubiquitous to stereoscopic 3d imagery the internet wide.

This program requires that the game used be part of a preconfigured list deems compatible. You can manually add app windows but thus far i have had no luck with requiem, air rivals, project torque or cabal. as touted on the previously mentioned url(if you read up on it) voice buddy supports world of warcraft. If you purchase the software and use it you find quickly that it does NOT support wow out of the box and if you e-mail the company regarding this they will send you a link to the actual supporting version.

This I have done.

The program is very easy to use. in fact its the easiest, fastest and most intuitive voice recognition software available. The wow folder however comes with no preconfigured commands like most other supported games in its list. this program is for instance fully prepared to drive most flight sims out of the box. It was explained to me that due to the burgeoning mass of customizable commands BEFORE variable specs it would be impossible for them to properly prepare a definitive "wow" command list and thus one must make their own.
Fortunately, a great deal of the program's ease of use I described was relative of the ease of command creation/voice training. I cannot stress how useful this proggie is and how easy it is to prepare. if you cant set it up... well you prolly should play adventure quest or something, i reckon.

After talking that smack i guess recommending one go check out the proggie just won't do so i'll post my copy instead. ^^

As a nice side note, this proggie doesnt generically mash keys. it actually injects them into the game window. So you could be tabbed to firefox, say, "stealth" and the program will reassert wow and (assuming you input the command properly in setup) it will stealth your little rogue or drood as it were. It is designed to inject macros directly into the game as well totally skipping the ingame macro system but I have yet to get this to work in all its glory with my more complex macros so even though a couple lines are fine I forgo this and use single keypress outputs which I use a separate macro utility to recieve as the catalyst for a macro of whatever length and/or timing I so choose. in syntax... i say, "stealth" , it presses "p", and the macro program (hotkey control @... InchWest - Software that brings productivity to work ) accepts "p" as an input at which point hkc sends out a string of macros which in themselves can also include keypresses that can further be referenced in the normal wow macro set. the potential is limitless.
Furthermore hotkey control can also used timed macros(as in those needed for the lockbox loot/instant strike exploit for rogues) as well as be directed to specific programs as well. the two of these tools make such a powerful toolset that i am now naked without them... ahem.

I have taken the liberty of archiving both programs (one with a cracked exe and the other with a keygen) both are working and virus free. they are my own copies... sort of. ^^

I scan all my stuff with both kaspersky and steelsecurity but i'd appreciate someone following me up and doing so immediately so we can put that behind us.

These two tools properly utilized can be used to control gm syntax tools with full control and on the fly to any combination or degree imaginable. Please do not ask me to delve further on this. Not to be rude (well other than that I am naturally rude) but these are SUPER easy to utilize. SUPER capital soup. I want to flame myself reading this as i type but please understand, noone wishes to answer questions already addressed numerous times on the support urls or FAQ's let alone the same site. As for installing the apps... if you cant use a keygen or are not familiar with the age old method of using patched exe replacement you have no business trying to 'sploit an mmo.

Unless youre on a never ending quest to lose your account and then by all means you should totally try a gm hack from youtube! :run:

Looks nice, but the GM commands part, you're talking about Private servers right ? or can you 'hack' the GM commands on live too ?

I mean tools that use gm syntax rather than console syntax.
if its a gm console sure; if its something else that uses gm syntax sure.

Any input is fine. I tend to keep all things augmenting wow but not being a part of it out of it's files, including the ingame macro system. It is simply a set of tools that combined offer hands free operation as well as complex macro inputs. Its nothing more than a if/then tool and not to be thought of as on the level with auto it or actools. these just push the buttons for you.

Advangages are...

1) hands free operation
2) window injection
3) the ability to store macros off of the wow installation(for whatever reason)
4) macro string length beyond that of wow's 255 character limit
5) timed macros
6) easy and intuitive programs that are very powerful combined.



Theres nothing like freeing up keyboard space and unnecessary movement by telling your mage to slow fall.:icon_headbang:

There is no need for a guide for such things. Furthermore they provide their own far better than I can make how-to's. This is hands down the easiest set of programs to use for this purpose and they have big shiny buttons.

the idea behind using both for crafting long complex macros is very simple and only ONE of the functions you provide yourself not given by the wow macro system.

simply put...

INSTALL VOICE BUDDY AND COPY THE PATCHED .EXE. TO THE INSTALL FOLDER AND OVERWRITE.


INSTALL HKC AND USE THE KEY GEN TO PROVIDE A SERIAL.


run vb and at least go through one voice training. AT LEAST. ive had the same profile for 2 years and have trained it at least twice a week.

CREATE A NEW COMMAND IN THE WORLD OF WARCRAFT TAB OF THE COMMAND MANAGE.

GIVE IT A NAME, GIVE IT A KEYPRESS COMMAND (WE'LL SAY "P") FROM THE PULLDOWN AND AN ANNOYING CONFIRMATION RESPONSE IF YOU MUST BE SURE IT WAS ACTIVATED WHEN YOU USE THE MACRO.


OPEN HKC AND GO TO THE MACROS TAB.

CREATE A MACRO AND MAKE "P" THE INPUT.

MAKE A MACRO AS LONG OR AS LOGICAL AS YOU LIKE... ERGO...


/cast barrel roll

(could add a wait for gcd here this is a problem that stops you dead in the wow macro schema when trying to macro certain moves back to back)

I also use hk contron to hstart batch files i created to refresh certain programs to keep the new in memory. for instance i hit win+fn2 and it kills voice buddy and restarts it in sleep mode waiting for me to say "voicebuddy wake up".


I am not going to teach a class on writing batch files.


I have no intention of writing guides for devices with huge shiny buttons and extensive support prepared for them.

Furthermore if anyone cannot figure this stuff out they are the last people i'd select for focal teaching. sensei are judged by their pupils as it were but truth be told its a waste of time and i have a business to run. If you find yourselves halfway cabable then youll find this very simple.

I did not post to rep beg and frankly dont care. My appologies. It just isn't important. All my forum loyalties were in a 'sploit forum that was predominantly FFXI and is now no more. Since its opus ive simply taken. when i saw a post on a voice app I thought I'd lend my experience in the matter and thus for once I'm giving. nothing more.

=( I have tried every thing but I can't get the VB to work... It just pops up the tray icon and then disapars.

I have installed the program and then threw the crack over the original file. Tested it didn't work. I have tried the original file. same thing. I have ran it as adimnistrator sisn I have vista. didn't work. Tried doing it with windows xp compatebilety. Also didn't work! HELP!

ok. i just got home and since my wife's is a fresh os install (xp pro sp3 w/ dx10) i decided to d/l my own link and install here. got em both set up and running in about 2 minutes.

we can be sure the link is accurate.
we can be sure that its not a directx 10 issue since this and my shop's system are running it as well.

other than this i cannot tell you. i have an internet cafe w/ every system running either xp w/ dx10 or ubuntu/suse linux w dx10 wrappers under wine. none however run vista. lol

check support at their site. the site says it supports vista. perhaps you need to acquire a different version from them as i did to support wow but i doubt it. it must work for you somehow. >.<


try disabling uac in vista i suppose. it not getting killed by any security unless you have a filescan firewall and have the vb folder set to protect from changes.

beyond this all i can do is appologize and say good luck. i hope you pin it down cause doin without this stuff blows... you just dont know it yet.

vb has a patched .exe ready to copy. hkcontrol has a serial generator.

Only thing you need to do is set them up, crack them with the provided items, train voice(optional... but necessary imo) and make v. commands/macros. bbq



Another thing.

when i said acquire another as I did for vista if necessary; what I actually did to acquire this was...

I got a cracked version, the same one from their initial sales package. Upon learning it didn't really support wow as was defined i actually e-mailed the staff there. in the body i wrote, " I recently purchased this product which seems functional as far as i can see. When I attempt to run wow from It lacks support. This is the sole purpose for which I bought the program. Please rectify, thankyou."

they wrote telling me everything from my original post with a link to the unpublished version that must be specifically sent to you by them. perhaps this is an attempt to keep it out of "our" hands considering the game and maintain it's salable status. ragardless i've zipped the appropriate version and the patch happened to work with it still.
