Hello people of Mmowned.com,

Firstly I'd like to add that I did searches for PvP addons, PvP addons Guide and similar stuff without finding something.

This is my first go at running my own thread trying to contribute stuff, So bear that in mind if I just fail at this. English isisn't my native speaking language so please don't mind the various wrong spelled word that will most likely exist

MUST HAVE ADDONS:

Proximo
A square box that will display your enemys in the arena after they have been targeted once. You can add Cast bars aswell as CC timers with the options ingame, (althought I do belive those are there when you install the addon).

Natue Enemy Cast bar

Movable bars that will show the duratation of buffs, Debuffs, Your CC and Dismimish return timers of your current target.

Spell Alerter

A big text will appear in the top of your screen when an enemy begins casting a spell, Or gaining a buff. Which spells/buffs that it will show can be set up by ingame configurating

Afflicted


Shows the cooldown of your enemies abilities

OPTITIONAL ADDONS:

Bongos

A low memeory using mod that will replace your current Blizzard action bar, Easy to set up and very easy to setup keybinding.

Afraid I wasen't able to find a good picture of this, But the time it takes to download the mod just to try it out is minimal.

Pitbull

Very nice looking replacments for the normal Blizzard unit frames, You can pretty much configurate then as you would like, Casting bar included.


(Quartz Cast bar) [FRAME AROUND THE BARS NOT INCLUDED]

Quartz

Replacment for the old Blizzard casting bar,Size, Length, Height and style can be changed, Also includes focus target cast bars and a swing timer.


(Nature Enemy Cast bars on the top right and below it to the left.)

Scrolling Combat Text

Replaces the Blizzard Scrolling Combat text, Shows damadge taken and healing taken, An exta addon, Scrolling Combat Text Damadge is avaible for dispalying damadge done.

This is nice. I do use most of these addons whenever I arena. I think that anyone who didnt know about them will be glad you posted this as they give a nice advantage over players without them.

Allow me to add 2 more addons I use all the time when I PVP.

SSPVP2 , capture timers, auto release, and auto queue/auto join (after clicking the battlemaster.

Timeuntilafk (outofdate, but still works), starts a 4:30 timer if you have been inactive for 30 seconds (4:30 + 0:30 = 5 minutes until afk). Plays a very noticable sound byte at 30 seconds until afk, to remind you to do something.





Me suggesting Timeuntilafk, does not mean you should use it for afking in BGs. I suggested it a few months ago in a different thread about afkbots, but have since then given up on PVP (been levelling up an alt nonstop). Very useful when guarding a graveyard, or node, so you don't afk while waiting for enemies to show up.

Not sure about "ScrollingCombatText 6.1," but Mik's scrolling battle text is a MUST!! The triggers are very nice on that. Also download Az Cast Bar instead of quartz, more customizable and overall an easier addon to use.
