    MySQL Setup error

I know I need MySQL installed to work stuff, but when U try to setup my MySQL server thing I get this:

Navicat can't connect either. Seems root@localhost has a pw. Well how do I change that? And the port that it asks me to open IS open.

Delete your Data folder in the mysql folder, and run the configuration manager for Mysql.

Set a new password that you want to use.

What password did you put in the configuration wizard, and what pass did you put in your navicat connection?

I used the old 123. But me MySQL never gets to finish the server config because it says root@localhost is password protected (left area in the pic I posted).

Are you sure you deleted the data folder in your mysql installation directory?

yea. Positive. I'm running vista home premium 64 bit. Maybe that causes a problem?
