Get error with every repack! Please help.

I looked in all my configs, moocow is not in any :S

Anyone know how to correct it?

Looks like you've entered the wrong MySQL password, as well as renaming one of the databases.
Try re-installing MySQL, or simply changing the password/user name on MySQL.
( If it isn't in the repack already. )
And take a look at your databases in Navicat or SQLyog.

The mysql came with the repack.

EDIT: Do i have to run ascent-realmserver for it to be online? I've got 2 running and i can connect to my localhost

Sorry, i don't use Ascent, so i don't know really.
But you should be able to change the password of your MySQL in the MySQL folder, or where ever it's placed.
When you've done that, change in the .conf files, and check out your database,
just to change the name of it from moocow to whatever it should be.
Or you could replace the name of the database to Moocow in your .conf files,
but you still need to have your current MySQL password.

As far as I know, You DO NOT need the Realmserver up and running,
It's been working perfect for me without it. : )

Babbaa's correct about the realmserver, but the issue is still the password.

What repack are you using? I seem to recall one with "moocow".

Well heres what i know.. If i try to simply click the Files out of my Folder to run ascent it comes up with the same error.. but if i run the server using the control panel that came with ac web repack it goes through fine.

moocow in the ascent-realmserver is written in the Cpp code, since clustering was never properly finished (last time i checked) the realmserver doesnt do anything and isnt required

Yes with ArcEmu there is no realmserver. You do not need to use it.

Hmm then you dont maybe to use it but if you really want it to work , download an hex editor. just search for MANCOW en edit it to your mysql password.
