how to change password for my sql?

ok i was told that i need to change my password mysql to fix this

could someone expalin it to me? if its in logon.config...

Username = "root"
Password = "ascent"
Name = "logon"
Port = "3306"

theres my settings which seems right, maybe its something else? could someone help please =D

If you think all of your passwords are correct then try restarting your computer, I get that error sometimes, but after restarting the computer (sometimes several times) it will eventually work. However, if you think or know your MySQL password is incorrect then you either need to change it (in which case you need to know the old one in order to change it) or you can change your .config files to match the current MySQL password.

No guarantees I even know what I am talking about, but just figured I'd try to help out.

Do you got a MySQL already installed? If you do I would recomend you to uninstall it as you using AC-web repack.

well im not sure if i installed it, i think i did though when following directions from another repack... where and what would the file name be?

but now i get stuck at Connected /= common problem i see... fixable?
