    DBC files for Mangos/Ascent

I'm just wondering if ascent and mangos use the exact same DBC files. This is probably a stupid question - but just making sure.

    Yes, they do.

Incidentally, I normally use the Trinity DBC extractor for ArcEmu since the ArcEmu parser missed data.

Are you sure of this? what kind of data? that could explain some weird things with dbcs that Ive had when I switch from arcemu to a trinity core.

Various spells, a displayid here and there, I haven't tested it much since I don't work with blizzlike content usually. It was only when I came to script The Lich King that I actually encountered these problems - almost all the spells that the lich king uses were said to not exist because the DBC extractor had missed this data. After using the trinity extractor instead, it worked perfectly fine because that did not miss the data that I needed (in this case the spells).
