Does transferring a character wipe away bans?

I have a 72 hour suspension that ended yesterday on my account. If i create a new account and transfer it over does that 72 hour suspension stay with the characters record or stay on the old account leaving me with a fresh new clean slate account?

Yeah bro it only stays with the accounts, just buy new account xfer and name change then your home free, and don't gotta worry about it,

then go on the old account and make a character with the same name as your old one
