Getting Decent Gold

Well this worked multiple times for me.

First find an item thats a blue put it for about 50g and put it in the ah on another character make sure yours is the only one there and make it around a twink level blue

Second go to the ah find an epic

Post it general chat saying that your selling it

Then when the person p.ms you , let them offer then you say fine or
something to that matter then say but Im really looking for this [give them the link to the item you put in the ah] and say its for your twink and it has a very low drop rate, tell them if you can get hold of this item I will give you the epic for it and you just have to give me like an extra 20g

Make it seem like a really good bargon to there advantage so it seems like your getting ripped off but little do they know there getting gipped because it was your multi that put up the item for a redicioulse amount and there just buying it out and not gaining anything then when they say ok i got hold of the item.Log off and 90% they bought out your auction give it a few tries not always works

Basicly your selling the blue but tricking the guy into buying it for a trade instead of gold. Then once he buys it cancel the deal and delete the charactor. I think this method is histaracle, worth a try.

Where you gonna get the epic from? Epics are worth more than the 50g you will get and the + 20 right?:confused:

i'll try to explane the rest of what i left out better.
1.put a item that sells alright up on AH if there is more then 1 put it the lowest BO, if your the only one pick a BO price thats over the average.
2.make an alt that you plan on deleting
3. Find a link of an epic item that sells for more then the item you put in the AH
4. pertend you have that item to sell by saying in "/trade" that your selling it cheap.
5. Once you have someone interested and tell them that you really rather have the item that you put in the AH more then the gold its worth
6.since your fake epic is worth more then the item you put in the AH the person is thinking they're getting the epic for a very good price.
7. once you notice they bought it out of the AH then you delete your charactor promtly

after that you have the gold from the item you put in the AH

note: they dont know your tricking them into buying your item(the real one thats in the AH) since you are on a different charactor.
note:The epic that your linking is not really in your pocket and is part of your scheim.

It really doesnt get more explanitory then that.

let me put this alot simpler


get a cheap blue item that sells for like 10g ah and reput it for 50g and make sure your blue item is the only blue of that kind


then go on ur alt and go ah and find a random epic and say selling , then link the epic u found in the ah.

When some1 p.ms you willing to buy the epic you linked say i really need this item then link them the blue you put up for ah and say you need that badly for yourr twink or make up some excuse y u need that blue.

then say if u can get hold that blue and 10g I will give you the epic so it looks like hes making a great profit then if says he got the item most likely he bought your auction because yours was the only one up it works most of the time give it a shot

Help me understand this..

The thing that I didn't really understand was, "After he/she buys your blue item, delete your character A.S.A.P."

If you are having your Alt <soon to be deleted> place the item on the AH then you would have to get the mail from the mailbox then send it to your main but then you'll have to wait until your main collects the gold from the mailbox other wise the gold will be lost.

So.. I take it that you are having your MAIN character place the blue item in the AH, right?

lol, nice scam, and they can't really do anything about it as you just decided not to trade, and they won't find out it was your alt that got the money +1 rep

This scam hapened to me, and I thought it was pretty good so I whispered the person saying "Nice Scam" and obviously they played stupid, until I got then to fess up and he started bragging, he then reffered me here and I reported him for scamming, THEN, i told him hes reported and he flipped out and gave me my money back, so I got my money back, and his friend told me the next evening that the person got a 3 day ban.
