private server patches question

I want to create a private server, But I want to know if I will be able to use patch 1.11. Everywhere I look, everyone says its up to 1.9 only.

eh, ive been wondering the same thing myself.
but i will say that thats not true about only going up to 1.9 from what ive saw, there are a couple of patches for 1.10 on the net.
do a google search for hackpatch 110 and that should do it, im thinking.

thanks, I gonna try this later. My brother tried to make a private server before, but something went wrong and it corrupted some files so he gave up. Dunno what went wrong cause he'll never tell me.
