you can get a curropted ashbrginer in Naxx but to make it you need to wait till the burning crusade is out..

yeah, its part of a quest chain i think, where you get the corrupted ashbringer and have to use a legendary drop quest item to smith/purify the blade to get this sword

To actually get the real weapon, yes, you have to wait 'til the expansion, but... You can still do other stuff 'til then related to it. ^_^

for the corrupted one you dont have to do anything..just do naxx and drop the boss...did it on test server...it dropped for us

supposedly if you kill Morgraine as the last of the four horseman the corrupted version has a chance to drop.
