    [help] Detecting stealthed units

    I'm gonna get flamed for asking for help, but I was curious about this....

    If memory editing allows you to change and detect things that your client isn't supposed to. Then would it be possible to see stealthed units on your mini map and constantly ping their location? Since the stealthed units are there, you just don't see them, yet.

    I ask this in arena, not in the outside world.

    No, this isn't possible. The server stops sending updates about the object when it stealths.

    Kynox is correct; and memory editing does not necessarily allow you to see things when your not supposed to (Stealthed units).

    The server does not send unit information when the unit stealthed; Unless, using some calculations with Unit Level difference and distance, when the unit is in "Range" will it send information, when the unit is stealthed.

    You can though (I guess) make a unit stand out More using memory editing when you "Spot" the stealthed unit in "Range". But this would be improbable as you would be scanning the memory non stop, searching for something that only shows for a second - if not a fraction of a second. The CPU usage to scan that much and to write memory quick enough would be ignorant and would bog down a system. Now this may or may not work, but in any case would be as said improbable because of the ammount of work and stress on the system.

    If the client doesn't get the data to begin with memory editing sure as hell isn't gonna help you.
