[Exploit] Buffs

1.Buff yourself with all your buffs (unless you can only have 1 of a specific type)

2.Get killed in pvp

3.Do not res stay dead

4. Log out

5. log back into the game

6. rebuff yourself and 2x the buffs )

You can also buff yourself with 2 different kinds of buffs that usually only aloud 1 at a time.

Ex. I am a demo so i was able to get +Fire damage as well as +Lighting damage so i rocked even harder )

I've seen this happening also, but it seems it's GUI related only.

You see the two buffs but you actually benefits only one ! (at least that was the case on my assassin)

That is indeed the case. Its GUI only. An utterly retarded bug but what isn't.

While Buffs are GUI only Debuffs are not. There is a way keeping a debuff on your target permanently. I had it done to me with a movement impairing effect and the only way i could get the debuff off was talking to a gm.

The buffs' GUI has a lot of problems indeed..In addition to the one mentioned here it also sometimes won't show a buff actually cast on yourself and many times it will keep showing a buff even after it has expired..

I never had to do this fancy relogging. Just die rez and rebuff and it shows buffs twice,

For those who wonder:

Glitchy is right.

in addition.. to control weather buffs are applied to your toon serverside or not is to press alt+z
(alt+y for US keybord layout) then press alt+z again and voila all pseudo-buffs are gone!

NOTE: still, the duration may still be displayed wrong.
And YES, debuffs can be kept sometimes with the method above... think of root immunity and stuff.. counts as debuff serverside *yummy*

a problem:

even if the buffs, i.e. divine vigor are stacked and this way increasing your max health twice (client side) still for the server your max is like 1xDV and you cannot heal yourself to max... maybe you can use this with a barb for example.. though there was something with a 35% HP -> dps boost *disappearsinapinkvertexshader*...
