To the great scammers: Is this a suspicious GM or what?

so I call, I have the account name, name on the account (first and last) and the SQ/SA, here's what the convo went like:

Him: Hello blah blah blah may I have your name please?
Me: *Fake Name, spell out last name*
Him: Email please?
Me: *Email*
Him: Thank you, what can I help you with today?
Me: I want to change my e-mail address.
Him: Blah blah, what's the secret answer?
Me: *give him secret answer*
Him: Okay thanks, what's the old e-mail address?
Me: I forgot, it's been awhile since I've logged.
Him: Okay, what's the address on the account.
Me: I moved, I can't remember.
Him: Can't help you then.


-_- did they change the way they recall? I've gotten plenty of accounts without the need for old e-mail address OR residence address on the account.

This may be sad, it was my last call to them so I want to see if they beefed up security, was it just this one Representative that was a paranoid mofo or what?

Yehhh i had to phone 3 times before i was successful :P first time i phones i had to know the secret question second time i never but i had to know the adress 3rd it was all good the guy was kl i acted nice he was casual very helpful all depends the employess :P

Call in and tell them that you want a email change
When they ask for your name tell them the accounts name
If they ask why you're changing the email say that you're email account was closed
Well, at least that's how I do it. With of course variations according to what they ask. But yah that should be it, I never need the victims email, but I have it anyways, so whatever. For the address most don't ask what the address is, but I get those too so I'm set either way.

But seriously what people have been saying is true, it does differ from person to person (which I think is a pretty week company policy). Just call back in a few minutes. If you recognise the voice hang up and try again.
