[Guide] Increse FPS drastically on LCD monitor

To increase the fps alot for all LCD monitors, start the game hit "ctrl+tilde (the console button for all games)", change device and turn vertical sync on. This will increase your fps upp to 40 more than it already was.

Ctrl+~ didn't bring up the console for me. Do you need to start the game in console mode like from the shortcut?

You should be able to turn vsync through your graphics card's controls.

(CCC for ATI, NvCP for nvidia)

Download Rivatuner, they have a bundled utility "D3d Overrider" that starts with windows and lets you override settings (vsync) so you *should* be able to override AOC's vsync. I'll verify this later *EDIT* Ok, I tried this and turned on the game and it appears to be working. Thanks OP

    RivaTuner v2.09 download from Guru3D.com

You'll have to "add profile" and select AgeofConan.exe and voila!

Or, if you don't want to install rivatuner, you can also use Nvidia control panel if you have an Nvidia card

check and see if it's in your system tray, I had to look there to adjust settings. Right click it.

Same no difference between off and on. AFAIK, the vertical sync in game can't be overridden or something. That's what I have been reading in the AOC tech forum.
