    No more model changing?

    Since patch 1.11 all my models are back to normal. but the folders for them are still corect. When i try to open the mpq files with mywarcraftstudio they won't open. Anyone else expierancing this?

    No more model changing?

    Yeap, it happened just like Wallwalking people make videos, they spread, other people learn how to do it, makes videos (exploiting mind you) and then Blizz sees em and then finds out HOW they do it, then hand out the nurfs.

    Blizz didnt get the info from the internet, its their filesystem, I think they would know that it could be edited.

    They implemented the feature in the first place lol.

    Maybe it's possible to edit the MPQ and recompile it?

    I heard if you edit the actual mpq, next patch it will get messed up and have to repair wow.

    Recompile of MPQ

    Ive recently tried the recompling of my MPQ files so that i can swap certain models to change my weapon look, it does not work, the file just went back to the way it was when i relogged ;(

    i could do it up until 1.11.2, like july 12th or somethin, there was a trick you could do but they nerfed that in a maitenance .

    I read post recently on MMOOWNED that said like you have to change the file name to to one of the file names in there
    Example.
    Fonts.mpq
    Fonts2.mpq

    dunno the ddue that posted the campfire model change it works cause he made it
    speech2
    dunno if this helps
