How do you do a quest?

I'm on level 7 and I was wondering what you do and where do you turn back the quest back in? The map is so confusing since it has a bunch of doodads all over.

Make the quest active by clicking on the quest in the quest log. Then look for a orange arrow to the edge of the map. That will you point you in the direction of the quest hand in. Other objectives will also be arrows but grey.
