Remember change this from ascent-realms.conf:

<Realm1 Name = "Apple's Ascent v3"
        Address = "applesascent.dynalias.net:8129"

to:

<Realm1 Name = "Apple's Ascent v3"
        Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"

If you won't change it, you will get logging into game server error.


HOW TO SET UP ?

1) MySQL Stuff
2) Starting MySQL
3) Navicat Set Up
4) Extracting world into Database
5) Installing .net framework 3.5
6) Starting Server

1)You can find MySQL Setup from your AA Tools folder.
Start Install --> Typical > Install > Next > Next > Tick that Configure the Mysql Server now and finish > Next > Standard > Next > Put password to ascent (Tick Enable root access from remote machines) > Next and Execute!
2)After that: Start >All programs >MySQL >MySQL Server 5.0 > MySQL Command Line
3)Then:
First just install Navicat; it is in Tools folder.Then open it should popup Connection window.
Connection name can be what ever you want.And Mysql Password is ascent.Then click Test Connect.If works, then click Connect.
Make new Database called world.
4)Go to your ascent folder and to Database folder. Right click from world.rar and choose Extract files here.
And then go back to navicat and right click of your world database and choose Execute Batch file.It's in AA Database folder.
5)Go to tools folder and install .net framework 3.5 is you haven't install it yet
6)And then just put server on! Click ascent-world.exe and ascent-logon.exe (when database Extract is done ^^)
Have fun!
If you want to discover some places in wow, just go to AA Tools folder and Map Extractor EnGB, and move files to your WOW folder, not server. Then click on ad.exe and wait untill it's done.Then move your maps folder to your Apple's Ascent folder. Then restart server, Voíla!

Where is the Ascent-Realms exe file thingy? All I see is the CONF file

its a good server...real nice but it seems i can only play on localhost... when i try to host it on hamachi it says the ip isnt aloud.. can anyone tell me what to do??

When I try to run the world.conf it says that Im missing the Realms.exe or w/e cause the text is red and then it quits...explain?

I have same problem. Says something is wrong in world.conf, but I can't find what.

The first time I click ascent-world.exe it does that, then I would just click on acent-realms.conf to highlight then clicked on ascent-world and it worked =/

yep, but everytime I log out and log in there no items.

When I first open it gives me the policies windows and when I make a new toon they have no starting gear.
