Well, its no prob if they don't catch you, it's wrong to do, high chance that you will be caught and kicked out of the store and have to pay.
Not to embarass him, but consider Flawz's advice to be equivalent to whatever advice I might give you.

you can't get in trouble its your right as the customer to see if the product contains what it should I have been "caught" once the wal-mart slave asked what i was doing and I simple said it was open checking to see if the game was in there and she brought me a new one from the back and that was it.
wal-mart is pretty slack with busting people afaik
