2v2 and 3v3 help.

Well, for 2v2 I'm with a full S2/S3 SL/SL lock (I'm a S2/S3 ShS rogue). I was wondering what tactic we should use, right now, we nuke the DPS while CCing the healer, I use crippling and Wounding Poison, and it's working pretty good, but we lose once in a while.

Now here's the question; for 3v3, what class should go with us? Restoration Druid? I will try it out with a druid, but he will join on Wednesday, +1800 healing and 500 res. So should I play with a druid?

also your 2v2 strat isn't bad

shaman is really good or a pally for your combo

druid is really good if you have rogue/warrior or rogue/hunter hunter/warrior etc…

but if your going against a ms war or combat rogue / bm hunter your kinda just big squishys and its hard for HoTs to be able to heal through it

I have a 2200 rating with myself a sl/lock a rogue/shammy

I've also gone up to 2100 with a pally

priests aren't bad but pallys and shamans can take some damage

How about druids? I have 30% dodge, and with Evasion its 80%, so when I get 50% health, then I use evasion, HoTs on me, and then I'm full health.

Also, I've tried 3v3 with a disc priest, it works pretty good, but then he left team. I am waiting untill I get 1850 arena points (600 needed) so that I can get S3 legs.

I asume a druid would make a good addition to your team, but I believe you might favor a priest. With your setup offensive dispels(and defensive ones) and mana burns helps alot, even though you got felpup I'd go for a priest.

I haven't tried with a druid tho, so can't say for sure how a druid would do. I play priest myself so I know that it works, which is why I recomend it.

Also, if your coming against healer, try using Mind Numbling Poison. (60% slower casting, its owning!)

For 3v3, almost all teams got healers, but we nuke DPS, then the other DPS, and then healer.

Whenever you are nuking a caster your Rogue should have a third weapon with Mind Numbling Poison and a macro to equip it and shiv, it can be very useful to prevent sheep, fear and possibly also some damage, even tho it's unlikely your target can do dps while getting nuked.

So the guy has a point, but it's not only for healers.

For example what macro would I make?

I have S2 maces (MH & OH)

I always use those 2, but I also have Emerald Ripper (dagger).

So for my macro, I need it to be;

/equip Emerald Ripper
/cast Shiv

The problem is that it will equip it on MH, and shiv = nothing there, so what macro should I use?

Umm, you should put it like this

#show [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/equipslot 17 [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/cast shiv

Slot 17 is offhand, which makes it equip it there instead of equipping it in MH

Alright, thanks so much! Is it possible to make a macro so that after it switches weapons, casts shiv, and then right after it casts it, then switches back to my S2 mace?

You need more clicks to do that, I believe a modifier is the best way to do that;

#show [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/equipslot 17 [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/cast shiv
/equipslot [modifier:shift] 17 [DEFAULT OFFHAND WEAPON]

When you hold shift and click the macro it will equip your default off hand weapon.

I just went online to check, if you put it like '

#show [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/equipslot 17 [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/cast shiv
/equipslot 17 [DEFAULT OFFHAND WEAPON]

When you click it a second time you will cast shiv again, and equip your default OH wep.

That method works if you don't mind casting shiv twice, but as it is a waste, I'd rather use the modifier one, or a seperate macro to equip the old one. Depends on what you find easier

Yeah, I guess I'll just make 2 seperate macros, and bind them to Mouse Button 4 and Mouse Button 5. Thanks!
