How to play wow where ever you are over your ipod touch/phone via wifi!

Not sure if this has been posted before but anyway its quite fun and useful to know regardless!

So your at work or where ever and you want to check how your bot is doing or read guild chat or check and use the auction house right? Well normally you would have to just wait till you get home. But not if you have an ipod touch/phone it turns out. I guess this would work on any device which has access to the internet but so far ive only tried it on these two.

So how do you do it?

1. Make sure you have an ipod touch/phone with wifi and are in a wifi zone so can access the internet.

2. Download this program: E.W.E.-Software Downloads (Befree4iphone) ITS FREE yay! There is a pro version but I havn't been bothered to buy it.

3. Set it up, its quite easy and theres enough help to if you can't.

4. Get wow up and running and make it full screen as its easiest to see on the ipod screen if its bigger on your desktop.

5. Log on to your computer via the program

6. Enjoy! There will be your desktop there on your ipod complete with wow running!

How does it work? Befree4iphone is a remote desktop application for ipod touch and phone. There are others out there but this is the only one i have used so far and it works fine! With wow up and running, you play it over the internet from your computer.

It is important to note and remember though that you are indeed playing over the internet so it will be laggy. You wont be able to go off and grind or whatnot but its fine to read /chat, use auction house or check up on your bot! You never know, it could help you maximise profits with auctions and so on!

yep already done it with VNC, (Vnsea.app on a jailbreaked iphone) + realVnc on windows, but playing is kinda hard cuz the refreshing rate is like 1 fps, but it is usefull to afk bg or respond to some whispers

I'm pretty sure it'll run like crap. I used to VNC from my work pc to my home pc to check mail during the day, and WoW was totally unplayable.

But i'll happily eat my own words if i'm wrong
