Guides arent needed after EXP upgrade imo, they are good for speedlevelers, those who wants to do it fast, or to retarded people who cant read quest logs :>

i leveld my first toon on quests it was alot of fun i never instanced waste of time if ya ask me =/
but yeah im going to follow a guide to see if its any diff but im looking fwd to wrath so i can quest again its going to be fun

Everyone is looking for something different in WoW, some want the stories and lore, some just want to kill innocent lil bunnies with an Epic 70. Mostly tho I'd say most ppl level their main without a guide, but on the alts, its already been done once, so why do it all again.

The first time leveling, I read all the quests, and did them all in a nice order. Now that I've fed blanchy 30 times and collected enough plainstrider livers to last a lifetime, I want it over with as soon as possible.

the LAST thing i want to do while lving is read through a guide, and with most guides i have read they are written it seems for a specific class, or race, and you have to change this or that to make the guide worthwhile for YOUR race and class.

this is a waste of time when there are great mods out there that basically act as a guide for YOU!!! (eg. MobMap)

Read Jame's Guide and get quest helper... I've leveled 2 70s, this is my third and due to exp tweaks etc I'm 55 @ day 6.

I agree you can read the quest logs but guides are good for showing you which qusts to pick up and which to ignore. When to turn in and when to keep grinding it out. Saves loads of time.
