Ok, i'm completely new to this...

So i'm slowly figuring out how to use glitchy's model editor, but am clueless as to how to take the changes i've made (skin change from my rogues armor to bloodfang) and actually apply them. I know it's supposedly a simple procedure, however I don't know how to make this M2 and BLP files in order to make the conversion. Anyone care to make a step by step guide for this? Ignore the fact that i joined over a year ago and havn't done anything, i've leeched nothing. Definite +Rep for help.

Use the WDB editor. The help file will tell you how to use use it. Its pretty basic. Load you WDB file. Find what you want to change and what you want to change it into. Look in the help files for the shethe ids. Then click convert and your done. You don't even need the model editing fix. Try one piece and see if it works. Post back here if you need more help.

I've done everything the help tab tells me to, yet the one thing i'm having trouble with is the sheathe ID. It seems to me that you only have to use this if you're changing a weapon or its sheathe position. I however cannot get the armor to change.

1=angled back
2=upper back
3=side
4=back
7=invisible

Ok, just to get this strait, what would I set the sheathe ID to for, say, bloodfang hood? What about the chest? Cause somehow I seriously doubt i'm supposed to be sheathing something i already wear.

The whole thing goes thusly, I load my wdb file and get the list of armor skins. I select the item I want to change and the graphic I want to change it to, then I hit convert. I don't enter any sheathe ID because it's not supposed to sheathe. What am I missing here?
