New update on the Quel'thalas hidden area + untextured naxx in Stratholme

Quel'thalas hidden area + untextured naxx in Stratholme seems to be updated.
This zone is already known to most explorers, and there are multiple ways to get there. I used the method of entering Stratholme (main gate), exiting, resetting the instance, and repeating until you're instance capped. This way, you can use items like cushions to bypass the invisible walls. However, this is not a repost of that method - but news to something that's already considered old news. I went there again yesterday and noticed something strangely unfamiliar to what I'm used to seeing.

The first time this place was discovered was many, many years ago, The highlights were an untextured necropolis, similar to the model Naxxramas uses, and a small night elf outpost near the coast.

A year or two ago, for some reason, a void-like dome was added just over this night elf outpost. That was curious enough as it were since it's not often you see unreachable areas being added to.

What caught my eye this time however—and the reason I'm posting—is that this void-looking dome has now expanded incredibly far, reaching deep inside Stratholme itself! I'm really curious to find out why this happened and if there's a GM actively changing the scenery of a place that's only accessible through exploitative means.
