I have a working MOP 548 server, with a mediocre DB, can I use the more complete DB from a different MOP 548 Server? For example, on DB 1, no fishing, on DB 2 fishing works. Or is the DB tied to the Server Compile somehow?

From my understanding, technically yes the DB is tied to the Server. The Server knows what to expect when it try's to access the database, for instance two different Emulators may have different names in their DB Columns or they may have a different amount of DB columns, etc... in these cases you cannot mix and match because the individual Server expects the Database to be structured in a specific way and the Server expects to be able to access specific column names to get the data it needs out of those columns. The only way for you to use a different database would be if you knew someone who had the same Emulator and version as you and was willing to give you a copy of his/her better updated database.
If I am wrong in any way I would be more than happy to have someone correct my reply.
