    Modify color / opacity of Map and Minimap

    Hi,

    I used to use some overrides to modify the color and opacity of the map and minimap. It looked like this:

    PHP Code:
      <overrides>
        <!--
    Map Reveal color opacity -->
          <
    override_MColor1 enabled="1" file="ui_default_main" path="map_reveal.color" value="0,0,255,255" />
          <
    override_MColor2 enabled="1" file="ui_default_main" path="map_reveal.map.opacity" value="120" />
          <
    override_MColor3 enabled="1" file="ui_default_main" path="map_reveal.minimap.opacity" value="50" />
      </
    overrides
    As the functionality of xml files is fading out, I tried to look, how I can adjust the default plugins to my needings. I've looked through the \plugins\Default folder but could not find anything which is responsible for the color and opacity. Though there is a Minimap folder with two files in them, I could not find anything appropriate to play with.

    Is it still possible to adjust the two values? It would be very helpful, as the standard color and opacity makes it very hard in most of the cases to identify the layout of the map.

    Cheers,
    smoo

    I know. That's what I wrote.

    But the question is still the same: How can the (mini)map color and opacity be modified?

    TurboHUD\config\ui_default_main.xml

    <map_reveal enabled="1" map_enabled="1" minimap_enabled="1" color="0,255,255,255">
    <map opacity="15"/>
    <minimap opacity="15"/>

    Thank you. I wasn't aware that those xml files still would be used.

    You modify the parameters of the XML file, you can achieve the desired effect

    I haven't tested this, but maybe you can try using this in your "plugins/user/RevealConfigurationExamplePlugin.cs" (CAUTION: remembter to rename .txt to .cs in order to get this file working)

    Code:
            public void Customize()
            {
                Hud.SceneReveal.MapOpacity = 15;
                Hud.SceneReveal.MinimapOpacity = 15;
            }
    Whilst both of them expects "float" as value, it may be that the value must be 0.15 or such (may be the range from 0-1)
