    A3Q1 Post-nerf Still Doable

If you use the Templar as your follower, the cutscene will be a longer, giving you enough time to run to the stairs and lure the mobs to the new position of the fireball.

If you're a DH and you have the dps to kill them yourself, you can always just lay caltrops with torturous ground at the bottom of the stairs to round them neatly and fire elemental arrows with ball lightning to kill them all at once.

The MOMENT you resume game -- run to the bottom of the stairs and then immediately run back to where the guard is. The timing is perfect. The fireball will kill them all.

    ALSO

Make sure you DO NOT get Intervene, Intimidate, Charge, or Guardian for your templar. If you do get one of these skills, the templar might force them out of formation by taunting them, knocking them back, stunning them, etc.

Get Heal, Loyalty, and Inspire. I don't even bother getting any of his third skills.

Also equip + EXP items on your templar for more exp. With the nerf, the templar is now the best follower for this because he can equip a shield - an extra item for more exp.

Before, you would never use the templar as your follower because of the delay.

Having a follower makes the conversation take longer so I see how this is supposed to work however Blizzard also seemed to remove the orange goblins that spawn at the top and dragging green goblins down is somewhat difficult

I can't manage to make the fireball kill them all..sometimes it kills 2, or 5. Don't know if it's useful as it was :s

Well I feel silly for leveling 5 classes 1-60 with the templar through this pre-nerf ='(
