Was thinking of an idea when i was browsing wowtrade.com.

They just register to see what's writen on this forums and post it to stops scams and such. Why not add a "block" like this one: (Content visible to registered users only. Please register here to view the hidden content.)

BUT, this "block" will need the user to have atleaset # posts on the forums to read.

Good or bad idea? I hope this isn't suggested before

Yes but how would they post on a topic they could not read lol.
I do think this would be a good idea on certain Forums such as the Scam Section.

The idea is nice but im afraid it will only encourage spamming on MMowned.com . If lets say we add a 5 or 15 post count limit to be able to view some content then be ready to see a lot more "QFT/etc..." , also many members will ask the question "why cant i see certain content ?" .

i agree with piggy. i dont remember why or how i remember, but when i first came to MMOwned, looking at emu section, i saw a post or two of a person just saying "Sorry for the spam, i just need to get my post count up to PM." now how awful is that? instead of actually contributing to the site, he just spammed to use the benefits of this site. MMOwned doesnt need any more spam posts but its a still a good idea, but ultimately flawed. but yay for trying to protect MMOwned's posts

Only special posts would have this. Scams and other crap that would be REALLY usefull.

I aggree with Piggy. The mods and Admin try very hard to keep MMOwned a spam free place. having a "Block" Will just encourage More.
